Movember is certainly a great month for a great cause - we are supporting that 'growth' all the way... and are looking forward to the results on day 30! Good luck!

It strikes me that every new website is there to make money. A few years ago people put up websites as a community service, now they seem to be there just to generate revenue. It doesn't seem to matter whether they contribute anything to society. What do others think about the glut of money grabbing web developers?

I think that really smart pweole will work out how to combine web 2.0 with real life to improve society. At the moment it seems to be all encompassing but not individual. I know this is ciontrary to popular opinion, but sites like YouTube and Facebook are just fashion accessories. They are not statements of individuality.

Where do you really think the web can take us? Will our only lasting memory be our my space page that we leave behind? Perhaps the web will become the cemetary of the future.

I read in the Daily Telegraph that generation Y is spending up to six hours a day on the Internet. Has this become their alternative life or are they using the web to plan and plot their real life? It's about time someone did some useful research into what people really do when they are on the web and how much connected time is just down time. Like leaving the TV on with no-one in the room.

It strike me that people are still slow to see how web 2.0 can make big changes in their lives for very little effort. Perhaps you guys should offer some practical hints on how to get more from the web without being an IT guru. It is all still very confusing to people who grew up with different technology. They need to develop new habits and it is only when use of the web becomes habitual that older generations will start to see its true potential. So come on Novanate start simplifying the web for all of us.
